Admin Dropdown Fields e.g. in a WebApp to Allow De-selecting all values
Currently dropdown fields (inside Admin) start off with null value and once they have a value selected, it is not possible to return them to an empty state.
A workaround is possible by creating an "empty" option, but this makes code relying on this more complex as it has to look for empty and "empty" states.
Please could you add an option to the admin of selecting none of the values of the dropdown, returning the value in the database to null.
For clarification, this would of course already be possible front-end, I am specifically requesting the option within the Admin UI.

Assume this also covers off issue where once you have chosen an email template you can't remove it for autoresponder/workflow emails? Currently have to create an empty email template as workaround.

Setting empty string as an option by adding an extra comma to the options is possible too and gets a tidy result in the database, but is not pretty in the Admin.
