Datasource for Users & Related User functionality

It would be great to be able to multi-datasource to the users table & to be able to view and edit the related user (Item Owner) in the events module

    Also would be very useful to be able to filter the webapp & module by user_id from the Liquid tag- usually filtering by user ID would not be suitable to be filtered by URL for security reasons.
