eCommerce - Shipping Options

Feature
  • Create Shipping options with a name and cost
    • Output a list of options on Cart or Checkout
    • Assign the chosen option to an Order, and update the total price accordingly

      Brendan Byrne: Hey 👋 So, Shipping Options will be stored in the database so that they are accessible with the rest of eCommerce etc. This means you can't edit a text list in a file from CLI, no.

      If you really wanted to, you could use GraphQL via the CLI to edit the database on your site directly… but that would generally be easier to do from the Admin!

      Hopefully that makes sense?

    Will we be able to integrate shipping options ie "Australia Post", "FedEx" etc?

      Mick Jackson: - That's something we'll have to consider. Phase 1 is literally as above; just a name and price field.

      Matt Walter: Shipping Zones is a must for me by PostCode area, with the ability to assign a Method and a cost to a specific postcode zone/area. Like woocommerce https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/
