Events Module - Custom Fields

Please would it be possible to have the option to add custom fields on to the events module?
If not, please could we request the addition of image fields for events. I think we can achieve this at the moment by linking to an eCommerce product but quite a lot of our clients will have free events so this doesn't feel like a great solution.
Capacity on the events module would also be great, maybe this is intended to be achieved using the eCommerce functionality? Again, not that compatible with free events. If we could have custom fields then we could probably implement this.
Also, are there any other features that you are intending to add to the events module or is this something you require feedback on?
