File Manager - uploading large groups of assets

Could we look at updating the way File Manager processes the upload of numerous asset files so that it more reliably bulk uploads.
For now we can use Siteglide CLI (https://developers.siteglide.com/introducing-siteglide-cli#kr-sync) to upload as many assets as we want, but it would be nice to have more flexibility in File Manager as well.
