Schemas are becoming more and more important to maximize our site’s visibility, and usability.
They help Google, Bing, and other engines interpret your pages more accurately,
Help our pages can earn rich snippets in search results,
Voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa use structured data to answer questions,
AI-powered search (e.g., Google’s SGE, Bing AI) increasingly rely on structured data to understand and summarize content.,
Schemas can connect our content with our brand’s identity, social profiles, and related entities — boosting trust and credibility in knowledge panels.,
Suggesting, if possible, and makes sense, a modular, reusable schema system that:
Uses different JSON-LD templates per type (FAQ, Product, etc)
Includes optional enriched fields for platforms like AI and voice,
Allows CMS fields (e.g., Liquid variables) to fill in real content
Although fields could be custom, ideally likely better if core fields used
Dynamically load schema
Setup for pages, webapps, modules and new Studio.
New Studio note: If multiple sections are added to a page, Schemas (from my understanding) can appear within the head or body tags. And multiple schemas on one page is acceptable.
