Media Downloads Module - Track Number of Downloads in Core Field

"What would be really useful is an inventory control option on media downloads. That way it can be hidden once a certain limit has been reached."

"I just need to track basic file download counts and thought if there was inventory control on media downloads, I could simply add a starting number and as each file was downloaded SG would work backwards from there. Then all I have to do is calculate how many times a file was downloaded and report that to the client."

Most flexible solution might be to simply track number of downloads, then allow Liquid to decide whether to hide or show.
