Create a button from Webapps/ Modules to preview the item via a temporary link to a version of the detail page which loads even if item is disabled or not released yet. Make sure it doesn’t appear in sitemap and is not indexable.
This is possible to build with secure zones, but could be a really useful Siteglide feature.

Temporary workaround for this….
1) On your list view layout, add this liquid snippet around your markup: {% unless this['name'] contains 'DRAFT' -%} LIST VIEW MARKUP GOES HERE {% endunless -%}
2) Then simply type "DRAFT" on the front end of any item name. To remove an item from DRAFT mode, just remove DRAFT from your name.
3) When you output this web app list, it will only show items that aren't marked DRAFT.

We have a requirement for this to be implemented for our larger customers where approval is required on new pages/web app items. At the moment pages are either live or not, we need to be able to create a preview link or have a setting so that the page is viewable on the PROD link but not actually live on the main domain.
