The ability to add custom Fields or Custom Field Sets to Product Attributes.

For example, the ability for each Product Attribute to have an associated image. or PDF file which would be available Front End.

    Just to add to this post, we have a pressing need to have shipping weights on product attributes so that shipping can be worked out correctly for differing size attributes on a product. Either as a custom filed or as an option in the attribute table itself.
