Our plan for this is to have location fields as standard on WebApps:

    • Address - Text
    • City - Text
    • Zip - Text
    • Country - Text
    • LatLong - GeoJSON (Point) - This would be populated based on what's entered above. Could also be manually editable. Similar to how it is on Events Module.
We will then provide the ability to search by location (e.g. show items within 5km of me) and display the results in either a list or on Google Maps.

Matt Walter: Great to learn this is in progress. Any idea when it will be in place?
      Thanks Matt!

Please see the latest update for this feature -> https://help.siteglide.com/en/articles/3823134
As noted, there was a problem with the structure of our coordinate values. If you need help changing to the new format, just reach out to the Support team via Intercom.

Will this be searchable? As in, can someone type in their zip code, and results are returned? This would be similar to BC "Allow Proximity Search"? It kind of sounds like this is possible but would like to confirm. And if so, any timeline? Thanks :)
