We plan to add the ability to group Custom Fields to then display in different tabs in the WebApp Edit view.

I would add to this the ability to expose WebApp forms to the client as part of the "backend" of the site. This would give them the ability to change site information without having access to ALL of the editing features of their website.

Hey Bob Peterson:, If you'd like your client to be able to edit the Front-End submission form of a WebApp without going into code, then you could use the default form file.
You can add your own css to the existing html in that locked default file to have it match your front-end design. Then when a user edits a WebApp in Admin by either moving a field or renaming it, the form will also update.
Does this help solve things for you, or did you have something else in mind?

Martin Sanderson: That might do it. I wasn't aware of the locked default form submission file. How do I locate it?

Bob Peterson: So the default file is generated automatically for each WebApp you make: https://image.siteglide.com/jkuyz1yD
When you output the WebApp Submit form, you can select that layout from the dropdown in the modal: https://image.siteglide.com/DOuG5woD
