Studio makes editing pages extremely easy by separating content from code. You simply navigate the page visually in either the left-hand preview or the right-hand blocks, click the section you'd like to edit and then edit the content on the right.
There are a few different types of content and ways to edit them:
Fields: Individual elements that appear on the page, simply click and edit.
Components: Dynamic elements such as buttons allowing you to add additional items.
Lists: Repeatable content, very powerful for managing repeating content types (e.g. Team Members or FAQs).
Settings: Some sections are setup so that you can customise additional things (e.g. swap text and image left to right).
Mapping: Static Sections can be used to show Dynamic Content (from Modules/WebApps) by βmappingβ the dynamic fields to the section fields.
Dynamic Sections: Pre-built sections with functionality built in (e.g. Forms, Blog List, eCommerce Product List).
Static Sections
Simply edit content in the Fields tab and Lists tab:
Dynamic Content in Static Sections (Using Field Mapping)
Any Static Section can be used to display dynamic content (from Modules/WebApps) simply by mapping the fields (see Mapping dynamic database content to static sections ). The following video shows how easy it is to edit this content:
Dynamic Sections
Dynamic Sections are pre-built layouts that use Siteglide functionality such as Forms, Modules, Webapps or eCommerce. They often come with settings that appear in the right hand side editor to allow you to customise the setup. A dynamic section is denoted by the purple border on the section and purple text in the title highlighting the functionality it relates to.
